Buying disposable nappies is costing you money. If you spend $20 a week on disposable nappies, it will cost you over $1,000 a year.  If you invest in 15 one size fits all nappies at $20 each, it will cost you only $300.

Cloth nappy hire kits allow parents try out different types of cloth nappies

Each hire kit includes a variety of nappies and inserts so you can ‘try before you buy’. You get up to 16 nappies in each small and medium sized kit.  The large sized kit has fewer nappies than the small and medium sized kits.  Each kit has washing instructions and a nappy bucket with a lid.  The nappies include Real nappies, Peapods, Baby First, Cherub tree, EZPZ, Monkey Doodlez, Nudey Rudey, Yoyo, Boon, Honey Child and Fuzzibuns, but aren’t exclusive to these. Kits come with covers, pocket nappies, all in ones nappies, and one size fits all nappies. They are a mixture of NZ made and overseas made. You can choose what you would like in your kit from our selection.

We cater for all sizes up to approx 16 kg

  • small (from 4 kgs - 8 kg approx)  as each brand may differ
  • medium (from 7kg - 12 kg approx)
  • large (from 10kg approx)
  • one size fits all nappies (approx 4 kg to toddler)

Cost of kits

  • $10 per week + bond of $40 (2 - 4 weeks)

WINZ clients can receive an advance payment of benefit to hire nappies

An Advance Payment of Benefit (clothing category) is available for WINZ clients who wish to purchase cloth nappies. A hire kit needs to have been utilised first.
