Who are we?
Housing New Zealand Corporation is a government office that provides housing services for people in need. We are also the New Zealand Government's principal advisor on housing.
What do we do?
Housing New Zealand provides New Zealanders with access to good quality affordable homes. We work with local residents, government and non-government agencies to build strong and healthy communities and to improve the supply and quality of affordable housing.
How can we help you?
We can help you by;
- providing rental homes if you have a housing need.
- linking you to other housing providers if necessary.
- provinding a range of home ownership assistance.
Where can you find us?
To access our services, you can use our free phone line (within New Zealand) called Housing Assistance, on 0800 801 601.
The service is open day and night and complements services provided at neighbourhood units. You can call from a mobile phone. People with hearing impairments can fax free to 0800 201 202.
