What do we do?
Runs road safety projects and programmes in response to local road safety issues.
How can we help you?
The PCC co-ordinator works with the following groups:
- Porirua Language Project by supplying resources and explaining any specialist questions that may come up
- Te Akamata’anga Ou
- Waitangirua Apolistic Church
- AOG Church
- North City Viking community
- Takapuwahia Marae and Hongoeka Marae
- Waitangirua Youth Programme
- Safe with Age-mature drivers programme
The co-ordinator also runs the following programmes:
- Pedestrian programme with local community group
- Project Corner Control
- Community Learner Licence project
- Code Red (awareness raising media campaign)
- Street Talk - a defensive driving course for people under 25 years old
