Family Wheels and Walk Day
The Bike Wise Challenge is a fun and free competition held every February between organisations across New Zealand, to see who can get the most staff to ride a bike for at least 10 minutes or 2 kilometres.

Porirua Grand Traverse

The Porirua Grand Traverse is a multisport event that takes participants of all ages, ability and aspiration on a scenic and challenging tour through iconic landscapes, from high country farmland to native bush and rugged coastlines. It starts with a mountain bike over the historic Battle Hill and Belmont Park, with views from the Orongorongos and Wellington Harbour to the Kaikouras and Kapiti Island.
This event usually occurs in late March or early April each year.
