This section has a description of Porirua Library which is part of the exciting cultural centre that includes the Pataka galleries and museum as well as meeting rooms and the Kaizen cafe.
Porirua City operates one central library and five branch libraries at Cannons Creek, Plimmerton, Pukerua Bay, Titahi Bay and Whitby.
The library holds an extensive and current collection of books and magazines as well as a range of other items.
Collections held in the Porirua Library include comprehensive Genealogy and Maori/Pacific Island collections as well as DVDs, CDs, best-sellers and large print books. Go to Services or Collections for more information about the library collections and what we can do for you.
