Mana Kayak Racing Club
What sort of sporting club are we?
Mana Kayak Racing Club was incorporated in June 2003 but was operating as a committed group of paddlers since 2000. We presently have 93 financial members with a further 219 past members or persons receiving information about the club.
We cater for any aged paddler, ranging from 9 to mid 60's in our current membership. New members are always welcome.
We are affiliated to Kayaking (Canoe Racing New Zealand), Canoe Racing New Zealand (CRNZ) and therefore the International Canoe Federation (ICF).
Our aim is to allow any person who would like to have a try at paddling to be able to do so and then for those that are paddling to assist them to a better experience or result in their chosen craft e.g. sprint canoe, ski, waka, multipsort, sea kayak.
How can we help you?
MKRC is about promoting kayak racing and training for all levels of skill and age. Our aim is to make paddlers more efficient and therefore faster. We specialise in helping paddlers to get the most out of their kayaking through correct technique development.
