This is a sheltered, flat walkway on the shores of the Pauatahanui Inlet, with spectacular views across the inlet to Whitby. It is home to the colourful, iconic Camborne boatsheds. The track is gravel and at 1.6 kilometres in length, takes about 45 minutes to walk one way.
There is a picnic area available at the Grays Road end of the track, and cafes are within easy walking distance at the other end in Mana Village.

Recommendation
Option 1: Start at Camborne boatsheds, walk along Camborne Walkway to Pendennis Point track. Follow this to the top and then cross the road to Penryn Drive walkway. Follow this to the end, cross the road and follow the link track back down onto Camborne Walkway.
Option 2: End your walk by following the beach at the southern end of Camborne Walkway to the Paremata Channel, where there is an underpass. Follow this around to the Mana Marina, and walk the Ara Harakeke track back to Mana train station. At the station there is another underpass back to the Mana shops.
