Health and Disability Plan

This document is a report on health and disability services in Porirua City.

The report was produced by many people working in partnership. Those who contributed include Central Government, Local Government, Tangata Whenua, Community Health Groups and providers and users of health services.

The report is based on:

1. An analysis of up-to-date health and disability statistics; and
2. The views of a wide range of people in Porirua City about health and health services.

The recommendation section is in two parts:

1. Those things that need to be done and have already been agreed with the relevant organisations.
2. Those things that are recommended but have not yet been agreed.
