Porirua City Reserves Management Plan
We live in a city with many wonderful reserves on our doorstep. Our Reserves Management Plan sets out how the Council intends to develop, maintain and protect our reserves - including neighbourhood parks and sports grounds, bush and open spaces.
The Plan sets out policies that guide the protection of natural resources, heritage and recreational opportunities for the community - so our reserves can be enjoyed now and in the future. The Plan is required under the Reserves Act 1977.
The Reserves Bylaw provides enforcement of the policies in the Plan.
