Anita Baker was first elected to council in October 2010 She wants to get things done, both in the northern ward and Porirua City as a whole. This includes improving essential services (storm water and sewer pipes) and seeing the Porirua city centre grow into a vibrant great place to visit. Having been born and raised in Porirua and a Whitby resident for over 20 years Anita has an in-depth knowledge of the area. She is a keen rugby follower and walks daily, enjoying the 15km of walkways within Whitby. |

As a first term Councillor Bronwyn Kropp is enjoying engaging with residents and taking a long term view of the City’s development, including fostering sustainable economic growth. She believes we must take a future focus to ensure Porirua keeps building on its successes. Two key aspects in doing this are maintenance, monitoring and upgrading of the City's infrastructure and regenerating and preserving both arms of the Harbour.
Bronwyn has been involved in the community through the Air Training Corps and previously the Council's Youth Advisory Group. In her spare time Bronwyn enjoys swimming and walking the Northern beaches where she has grown up. She is also a keen supporter of football (soccer) and cricket. |

Cr Euon Murrell AREINZ Dip RE JP

Euon Murrell was re-elected for his third term in October 2011. During his first term in office he held the position of Deputy Mayor. His present role is that of Chairman of the Council Committee, portfolio responsibility for City Centre Revitalisation and is also a member of the Audit & Risk Management Subcommittee.
Euon is a local business owner, who has lived in the area for over 40 years. Married with three children, and three grandchildren. An associate of the Real Estate Institute of NZ, Diploma Accredited Auctioneer, currently a Board member of Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, Business Porirua Board, and past Rotarian President - awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award in recognition of his services to the community, Justice of the Peace since 1992.
Euon represents the Northern Ward. A councillor who is passionate about making a difference, he has a reputation for saying it as it is, and getting things done. |

A second-term councillor, Tim Sheppard's centres of interest are on Council's strong financial control; a tight focus on infrastructure and the environment, and the sustainable development of Porirua. He chairs the Wastewater Treatment Plant & Landfill Joint Committee (with WCC); the District Plan Review Subcommittee; the Special Consultative Procedure Hearings Subcommittee and the Hearings Appointments Subcommittee, and is an appointee on the New Zealand Historic Places Trust (Wellington Committee).
